On December 22nd I went to pick-up my Heart. We could not possibly have picked a worse weather day, as the high was 19 and the windchill had to be hovering around 0. Luckily I had run up to Lowes the week before to get straps to hold down the heart in our F150 truck bed. It just barely fit! We got it home safely despite the crazy traffic on I-435/35. Now came the moment of truth... would it fit through the front door? I had measured the dimensions of the heart and knew we could squeeze it in, but they had it placed on a pallet which was not accounted for in the original mearurements. Unfortunately in the freezing conditions and with the help of my husband and brother we could not quite get it through the door and our fingers were frozen. To the garage it went for a few days while we trouble shooted how to angle it into my house.
